About Kristin Makar
Kristin Makar is experienced in private equity and private company corporate work, including structuring and documenting company formation strategies, capitalization and investment initiatives, equipment acquisitions, operating agreements and corporate governance matters.
She recently negotiated and drafted joint venture agreements with one of the largest industry leaders in the world for the operation of a national U.S. $500 million per year South African business venture. She also has experience structuring and drafting lease-end documents as part of sale-leaseback transactions involving extended mileage telecommunications assets, including recording right-of-way and easement agreements with multiple county offices in multiple states. Kristin previously practiced commercial and environmental litigation and related regulatory work in environmental matters affecting real property rights.
Kristin received her J.D., cum laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Gettysburg College.
