About Joshua Bloodworth
Joshua D. Bloodworth has worked on a variety of real estate and real estate financing transactions, and has advised clients on legal matters including purchase and sales, mezzanine financings, subscription financings, forbearance structurings, mortgage loans and state and city bond financings. In addition, he has represented institutional lenders and borrowers in secured revolving and term credit facilities. Joshua has represented developers in forming joint ventures to develop market-rate housing in and around New York City. He has also assisted landlord and tenants with the leasing of office, retail and industrial space. Joshua has experience assisting non-profit organizations with structuring real estate transactions that maximize their holdings while meeting mission specific goals.
Prior to joining the Firm, Joshua was an associate in the New York offices of King & Spalding LLP, Morrison & Foerster LLP and DLA Piper (US) LLP. Joshua received his JD in 2003 from Harvard Law School and his BA in 1997, also from Harvard University. He is admitted to the New York State Bar.
