About Charles Keefe

Charles B. Keefe is a project, corporate and public finance lawyer finance lawyer with 30 years of domestic and international experience. He has represented lenders, developers and equity investors, primarily in the energy sector, including independent power projects, oil and gas field development, and pipeline and refinery projects in the U.S., Europe and Asia. He has also advised in a wide variety of corporate finance, asset securitization, public finance, real estate and joint venture transactions.

At Bryant Rabbino, Charles is active in public finance, regularly representing New York State issuers and underwriters in connection with the public offering and private placement of tax-exempt and taxable bonds.

Before joining Bryant Rabbino, Charles was a partner with Coudert Brothers LLP, an international law firm based in New York. He was a member of Coudert’s Russia practice group and the managing partner of its Moscow office from 1998 until 2003. Following Coudert’s dissolution in 2005, Charles was General Counsel for the Coudert estate, co-managing the firm’s worldwide liquidation and supervising all litigation affecting the estate through confirmation of its Chapter 11 bankruptcy plan of liquidation and thereafter.

Charles graduated from Columbia University School of Law (JD 1981, Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar). He received his undergraduate degree from Yale University (BA 1975, cum laude). He is a member of the New York State Bar and is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
