ABOUT Bernard Armoo

Bernard B. Armoo is a partner at Bryant Rabbino LLP. Bernard practices with the Capital Markets & Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions practice groups of the firm.

Bernard has served in the firm’s representations as bond counsel, disclosure counsel and underwriters counsel to issuers, lenders, investors, placement agents and underwriters in a wide variety of public and private securities offerings. Bernard’s experience includes regularly serving as bond counsel to the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, The State of New York, The Dormitory Authority of the State of New York, Empire State Development Corporation, Build NYC Resource Corporation and New York State Thruway Authority. Bernard also has experience in representing the New York City Industrial Development Agency as project counsel on straight-lease transactions.

Bernard’s experience includes assisting clients with revolving and term loan instruments, mergers, acquisitions and dispositions, and assisting non-profit entities gain and maintain 501(c)(3) status. Bernard has extensive experience drafting and negotiating a range of finance related transaction documents, including, without limitation, debt instruments and all accompanying documentation including disclosure documents, bond indentures, bond resolutions and ordinances, official statements, purchase contracts, escrow agreements, credit and related security agreements and continuing disclosure agreements.

Bernard is a member of the New York City Bar Association (NYCBA). He is a member of NYCBA’s African Affairs Committee and its International and Comparative Law Committee. Bernard serves as a Trustee for ‘Kidz Klub’ Leeds and is a member of the Leadership Council for the Friends of the Children New York. Bernard is a Council of Urban Professionals (CUP) Fellow (Class of 2020).

Bernard received an LL.M from Wake Forest University School of Law and his LLB (Hons) Law Degree from Leeds Metropolitan University Law School, United Kingdom.
