About Aram Muradyan
Aram’s principle practice areas consists of practice on general corporate matters and on the Federal income tax aspects of municipal finance transactions, including complex arbitrage rules applicable to tax-exempt bonds. Aram has represented a variety of issuers, borrowers and underwriters in financings of water and sewer facilities, low-income housing facilities, hospital and mental health facilities and other public infrastructure throughout the United States.
He advises individuals and entities in the structuring and negotiation of strategic transactions, business ventures, and in all matters of corporate finance and tax. Aram possess a deep understanding of business ventures and provides our emerging business clients with first-hand experience and expertise with respect to a wide range of issues, including initial organization and formation matters, financing, building strategic partnerships and adhering to industry best practices.
Mr. Muradyan began his legal career as an associate attorney at Latham & Watkins LLP in New York City, where he advised public and private corporate clients on various credit facility and financing arrangements. He later joined the Tax Department at Hawkins, Delafield & Woods LLP in New York City, where he specialized in matters of public finance and taxation.
Aram received his J.D. (cum laude) from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a certificate of study in Business Economics and Public Policy from the Wharton School of Business. Mr. Muradyan also received an LL.M in Taxation from New York University School of Law. Prior to law school, Mr. Muradyan received a B.S. (magna cum laude) in Computer Science and M.S. in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from Stony Brook University.
